BayernLB promotes digitization in corporate banking

The new e:Client app from Business-Logics enables secure payments also on the go

Munich – BayernLB further expands its service in Internet banking and since beginning of May offers its corporate customers the option to do banking transactions on the go via smartphone or tablet. With the new e:Client app made by Business-Logics the bank gives its corporate clients an easy and convenient way to view the account balances of their business and authorize payments with their electronic signatures at any time.

"We are very pleased that we as the first state bank in Germany are able to offer this service. With the app, our corporate customers can handle their daily banking matters, without having to give up the high security standards of BayernLB", says Michael Bücker, who is responsible for corporate banking in the board of the bank. TÜV Rheinland has tested the app and certified it as a secure mobile application.

With the three pillars cash management, information platform and Internet banking, BayernLB supports its corporate customers in managing their account information and payments and continuously increases its market share in this segment. The new app completes the Internet banking product BayernLB e:client. With this program, customers could always transfer payment transaction data quickly and safely on the basis of EBICS (Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard). Both programs from the software partner Business-Logics are multi-bank capable, hence users can do business with all their banks. The app has been designed for iPhone and iPad and supports all iOS versions from 5.1.1.
