EBICS app for Android devices from Business-Logics at Volkswagen Financial Services AG (VWFS)

After the successful introduction of the eDAT Access app for iOS last November, the VWFS in Braunschweig, Germany now also offers its customers a version for Android.

Electronic signatures even when on the road

The main application area of the app is the Electronic Distributed Signature, short EDS. The function is a fundamental part of payment transactions via EBICS and allows authorised employees in companies to sign or reject payments by means of an electronic signature.

Account information per STA/VMK or XML based

Certainly the eDAT Access app also supports retrieving and displaying account statements and advices in the typical formats MT940/MT942, as well as per the XML formats camt.053/camt.052.

Mobile and secure

In particular, companies with employees who are often away on business appreciate the possibilities of signing payment orders and retrieving account information whenever needed.

As a matter of course, the flexibility of an application must not be at the expense of security. The fact that customers of Volkswagen Bank are on the safe side is confirmed by TÜV Rheinland, who certified the app as a secure mobile application.

Availability

The app from the manufacturer Business-Logics is available for download in the Google Play Store*.
