One interface for all countries
With the introduction of EBICS Version 3.0, the country-specific differences of the previous versions have been standardised.
The current version thus enables electronic payment transactions for Austria, France, Germany and Switzerland at the same time with just one client.
With the release of EBICS in version 3.0, the different EBICS variants were merged.
The API supports the complete range of functions including key management, file transfer and electronic distributed signatures (EDS/VEU).
In addition to version 3.0 including BTFs, BL EBICS also implements all country-specific 2.x versions using order types.
The API for all platforms
Whether app development, classical desktop client programming or integration into server systems are required, the API is available for all common platforms.
The trusted API is available for app development:
- For iOS as an Objective C interface and
- for Android as a Java interface.
Both classical versions are used to implement PC client programs and for integration into server applications:
- Standard Java API
- C/C++ or C# implementation.

The API is constantly evolving. All new EBICS versions will be implemented according to their specifications as part of the software maintenance. This gives our customers the investment security they need for their products.
