The Secoder standard was introduced in 2008 by the ZKA (today "The German Banking Industry Committee"). Due to extensive security features it serves as the base for standardized and secure smartcard readers.
If you use for instance the Secoder smartcard reader cyberJack go of the manufacturer REINER SCT, BL Banking can be executed directly from the smartcard reader, because it allows to install the program directly on the integrated USB memory stick. According to the manufacturer this smartcard reader, because of its USB interface, is especially recommended for mobile operation on notebooks.
With the support for SECCOS compatible chip cards and the Secoder standard, BL Banking serves the highest security requirements in the field of corporate banking with chip cards and smartcard readers.
