Data use of newsletter

Business-Logics GmbH processes your personal data solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis for this is the consent in accordance with Art. 6 I a) and 7 GDPR, as well as § 7 II No. 3 UWG.

With subscribing the newsletter, you confirm that you would like to receive newsletters from Business-Logics on specific topics to the e-mail address you have provided and that you are identical with the person requesting the newsletter. For verification purposes, you will receive a separate e-mail (double opt-in), where you must confirm your newsletter subscription. Without this confirmation, you will not receive any newsletters.

For the purpose of sending the newsletter, your data will be processed on a server reachable at mailing.business-logics.de provided by our hosting partner – Host Europe GmbH, Hansestr. 111, 51149 Cologne, Germany. Your e-mail address is transmitted to the mail server of our e-mail provider – IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany – for dispatch.

In principle, this data will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to transfer it on or the transfer serves criminal or legal prosecution.

The newsletter is sent using phpList, an open-source e-mail delivery system, which uses your e-mail address, as well as other data described in this notice. We use this data exclusively for the dispatch and statistical evaluation of our newsletter.

By subscribing to our newsletter, you declare that you agree to the receipt and the procedures described.

The registration procedure is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our interest is focused on the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter service that serves both our business interests and meets the expectations of our users.

The newsletters contain a so-called web-beacon, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is registered by our newsletter system when the newsletter is opened. As part of this retrieval, the IP address of the newsletter recipient and the time of retrieval are collected. This makes it possible to determine whether and when newsletters are opened and, if included, which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients, but it is not our intention to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us solely to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send content according to the target groups and user interests.

Termination, revocation

Users can terminate the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke their consent. A link to unsubscribe can be found in the email confirming registration and at the end of each newsletter.

Unsubscribed e-mail addresses as well as the data for the registration of our newsletters will be stored for up to three years on the basis of our legitimate interest to enable processing for the purpose of a possible defense against claims. By terminating the newsletter, the respective e-mail address will be stored in the blacklist of the newsletter system in order to track the termination accordingly and to exclude a future e-mail dispatch without prior new registration.

A revocation including the complete deletion of all data is possible at any time by individual deletion request, provided that the former existence of a consent is confirmed at the same time.

Cookies

We use cookies for our newsletter service. Cookies are small text files that are sent to your browser by our web servers when you visit our web pages on mailing.business-logics.de and are stored by them on your computer for later retrieval. Persistent cookies are deleted from the visitor's computer only after a certain period of time has elapsed. If persistent cookies are to be deleted before the time period has expired, this must be done manually using the corresponding function of the web browser.

In the settings in your browser, you can determine yourself whether cookies can be stored and retrieved. You can, for example, completely deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser, limit it to certain web pages or configure it so that you are automatically notified as soon as a cookie would be set and you are asked for confirmation on this.
