Our privacy policy provides you with concise information about all the data we collect, store and use when you use our apps.

Individual data protection information for mobile apps

In addition to our online content, we also provide various mobile applications (apps) that you can download to your mobile device. In addition to our general privacy policy and our privacy policy for customers of Business-Logics, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data when using our apps in the following.

Use of data for apps by Business-Logics GmbH

When you download an app, the necessary information is transmitted to the respective app store, including your user name, email address, app store account number and your individual device ID. We have no influence on this data processing. The operator of the respective app store is responsible for this.

We use the data transmitted to us when using the app to enable use of the app and to provide services within the framework of software maintenance and the German Product Liability Act. The specific data provided includes your name, company name, email address, program version and license code, which are required for the license administration.

To streamline the configuration of the program, the app can retrieve the following data from the license server: product information (name/icon), bank information (bank name/client ID, bank URL, host ID, public bank key hash values), EBICS version to be used, signature version to be used, customer ID, user ID, license validity information, first order number.

Using the synchronisation function with BL Banking, users can transfer the EBICS and license settings of BL Banking to the Android or iPhone apps. The data used for this function is listed in detail in the privacy policy for EBICS clients.

To enable software maintenance, users can transfer the following data to Business-Logics using the “Send traces to the support” function: bank name, device information (type, system version), EBICS traces, system log entries (filtered for app entries), license code. This information must be actively transmitted by the program user; automatic transmission does not take place.

Your data will never be used for advertising purposes unless you want us to and explicitly give us your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us via email at . By accessing our online services, identifying information (IP address, date, time, page accessed, downloaded software versions) may be stored on our servers. The data collected in this way is used exclusively for statistical purposes. Any analysis of this data is only carried out in anonymised form. All personal data is stored and used only for the stated purposes. Under no circumstances will this data be passed on to third parties, unless Business-Logics is legally obliged to surrender the data, for example due to a court order or by order of the authorities.

App permissions

The apps currently use the following permissions:

App permissions for Android

  • Camera (take pictures and videos): reading the QR codes when synchronising data
  • Storage (read, modify and delete the contents of your SD card): storage of the INI letter, app can be moved to the memory card
  • Full network access and view network connections: EBICS communication and data synchronisation

App permissions for iOS

  • Camera (take pictures and videos): reading the QR codes when synchronising data
  • TouchID: unlocking the app with a fingerprint
